Glen Hansen

Glen Howard Hansen, passed away on May 9, 2023, in his home in Louisville, Colorado. He was 98 years old. Glen was born to Charlie and Mary Alice Hansen on December 27, 1924, at home in their Boulder County farm house. Glen graduated from Louisville High School. Shortly thereafter he married his high school sweetheart, Anna D’Agostino on July 30 1944. He later served in the Army Signal Corps in Germany and France during WWII. After Glen returned from the Army he built the home they lived in their entire married life. Last July they celebrated their 78th wedding anniversary .

Glen worked as a carpenter and built many homes in Denver and retired from Rocky Flats after 30 years. Glen enjoyed spending time with his family, golfing, fishing, gardening, traveling, and most of all CU Buffalo football.

Glen is survived by his wife Anna Hansen, daughters Teresa Kummer, Janet (Dan) Brown, five grand children and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.

Memorial services for Glen will be held at a future time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the St. Louis Catholic School at 925 Grant Ave. in Louisville, Colorado.
