Cynthia Ann Lawrence

September 15th, 1962 — March 10th, 2015

Cynthia Ann Lawrence, 52, born September 15th, 1962 in Owensboro Kentucky passed away on Tuesday March 10th, 2015 in Boulder Colorado. Graduating from Columbine High School she moved forward to earn a bachelor's degree from CU Boulder. Her passion was in healing arts through yoga and massage therapy and she received multiple certifications as a CMT, CYT, in hatha yoga, integrative yoga therapy, meditation, counseling, energy healing, and in business. She loved to travel and spent extended periods of time learning and teaching in India, Brazil, Mexico, and France. Cindy enjoyed meditation, hiking, skiing, gardening, cooking, hosting spiritual events, and more than anything spending time with her family. Her achievements include starting several businesses, being a mother, raising her family, and will be remembered for her free-spirited, energetic, warm, loving, and inviting outlook on life. Cindy is survived by her father, William H. Simmons and his spouse Wandalee L. Simmons; mother Martha A. Simmons; son Jacob W. Lawrence and his spouse Lindsay Malia Lawrence; grandchild Calvin W. Lawrence; son Andrew W. Lawrence; brothers Jeff and Chris Simmons, and sister Jill Weaver. She is predeceased by her sister Julie M. Simmons. Her service is open to the public and will be held at 1:00pm, Wednesday March 18th, 2015 at Unity of Boulder Spiritual Center, 2285 Folsom St. Boulder, CO 80304. Flowers and cards can be sent to Unity of Boulder prior to service, donations in her name can be sent to the spiritual center or mental health organization of your choosing. Yogeshwari Cindy Lawrence will always surround and guide us with her love in this life and the next, Namaste.

A Memorial Service is scheduled for Wednesday, March 18th at 1 PM at Unity of Boulder Spiritual Center, 2285 Folsom St. Boulder, CO 80304.

To all family and friends of Cynthia, I was so deeply saddened by this news - that such a well meaning person who has been good to so many people has left our presence here on earth. I did not know Cynthia well, but over the years got together through mutual friends. I always parted with an impression of a very hard working and genuinely well meaning person who has helped many people on this earth through personal consciousness recognition and Impressed by her desire to do so. Thank you Ayssha and Roshan for introducing me to Cynthia. May her loving spirit live on, positively touching people for evermore.
