To Wilma's family, Royal and Wilma took us under their wings when we arrived in Rocky Ford on August, 1951. I was a fresh graduate taking my first job as the industrial arts teacher at the high school. We had our first boy that fall and Royal and Wilma invited us to their home many times. They taught us to play bridge on so many evenings. What a wonderful couple. After 4 years I left to teach in Denver and we renewed our relationship when Royal became superintendent in Sheridan. We lost track of them after we moved to Ft Collins but we never forgot that wonderful couple. We knew Royal died but it was a surprise to see Wilma's name in the Post. Please remember us as a true friend (even though we had not known that Wilma was still alive). We hope she did not suffer over the years. Our very best to the family Rod and Mary Anderson
