My sincere sympathy to the family of Harold Conroe. I only knew him a short time thru the Erie Community Center. He was a great guy and always brightened our day. He will be missed!
We are very sorry to hear of the passing of Mr Conroe, he was a wonderful teacher and friend. He was mine and my husbands teacher at Erie High School way back when and also my boys teacher in the 80's. He was also a good friend to my mother Mary Katich. I'm sure his kindness left a positive mark on all who knew him, I know he did to my family and me. I thought the world of him. I could still hear him announcing the football games in Erie. May your loving memories provide some comfort during this difficult time. You have our deepest sympathy and prayers. Theresa Lucero and Boys
I knew Harold for only a short time, but I found him to be jovial, informative and friendly. He sat at our table and asked me immediately if I played pool. We did play a few games and I am sure he was not playing his best with me. He was a gentleman always. We left his seat empty last Thursday to honor him. He will be greatly missed by us all. He always appeared to be someone who enjoyed life. My kind regards and prayers to the family.
