Julie married David Allen Vogel in Broomfield, CO on August 21, 1976. David passed away on November 21, 2017, they were married for 41 years. Julie and Dave had three children, Wayne Allen Vogel born April 28th, 1982 and Kevin Ross Vogel born January 31, 1984 and Tenessa Lyn Vogel on August 22, 1987. Tanessa passed away at birth.  Julie is survived by her two sons and two grandchildren Madison Lily Vogel 15 years old and  Cayden Allen Vogel 12 years old.  Julie is also survived by her sister, Mary Ann Reed Schmelz of Mesa, AZ (Alan Schmelz). Julie and Dave raised their family in Thornton, CO. Julie's greatest love was becoming a Mother to her two boys and GrandMother to her two grandchildren. Julie loved music and always had a big smile and a great sense of humor. She loved thrift shopping with her Mother and going to the movies with her grandchildren.  Julie and her sister Mary Ann loved to watch the Voice, American Idol and Discovery ID together. Julie loved her lunches with the girls from StorageTek formerly of Louisville, CO.  She loved her extended Vogel family and all the fun family reunions and memories they shared together. Julie had a bucket list of which one of those was a vacation to Hawaii.  We simply ran out of time and so today we honor her with the family wearing Hawaiian lei’s as Heaven is her Hawaii. Julie and her sister often listened to Christian music together and the lyrics to “Well Done” by The Afters, was one of her favorites and it was a comfort to both of them as they sung it together. There will be a funeral service beginning at 10:30AM on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Broomfield. Interment will be private as Julie is laid to rest next to Tanessa and David at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver.  Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley (1510 E.
